Making the most of Virtual Classrooms

The presentaion i just watched on the macromedia website explored an advanced software that is similar to participating in a classroom but there is no need to leave your house. Adobe solutions enable higher education institutions to easily create and deploy engaging eLearning experiences that are easily accessible across campus, across a multiple campus institution, and beyond — within existing LMSs. Hassle-free access keeps the focus on the content, and not on technology. Acrobat Connect Pro 7 enables educators to teach in real time or deliver narrated presentations that students can view on demand. the main disadvantages to using this software is that it is not as realistic as being in a classroom atmosphere. if the student has any queries or questions they cannot rely on teachers to give them the answers. Also the prices of all of these services available to buy are extortionate.

NetFrog

NetFrog is an online simulation of the dissection of a frog. it is extremely helpful to university students who may be screamish or need some detailed knowledge of the process of dissection. it gives students the full opportunity to understand every part of the dissection, the anatomy of the frogs body and where each incision is made. it teaches you every body part of both males and females and interacts you by giving you revision activities in which you can dissect the frog yourself. Overall i think this site is very useful for university students.

Online Banking

All the major banks offer online banking. Online banking is a more efficient way of managing your bank accounts. You can:
check your balances and view statements online
move money between accounts
make payments to suppliers
set up regular payments such as salaries
order chequebooks and statements
download account information to analyse on your computer
Online banking can be very cost-effective. Charges are often lower than for ordinary accounts and accounts may offer higher interest rates. Banks usually offer online banking services at no extra cost.
Larger businesses may also be offered "PC banking". This requires the installation of special banking software on the computer you use to manage your account. It can offer a more effective solution if you have a large volume of banking transactions and directly link your accounting systems to your bank.

Ebay

The major purposes of ebay is to allow people to buy and sell whatever products they desire or do not wish to own any longer. it is a great way of selling products as there can be bids which allows the seller to possibly profit greatly from rare items or antiques or just popular items. the auction is on a timer which allows the last and highest bidder accsess to the product.

Haiku Poem
